engtitDuring the second week of October, from the 8th to the 15th, to be exact, we had the wonderful and unique opportunity to go to England with our school. We were all very excited to go to a foreign country with our schoolmates and two of our teachers.

We are very grateful that Mrs. Krenn and Mrs. Kytir took the time, effort and energy to accompany the tenth grade, 6A and 6B. Early in the morning, we met at the airport and arrived in London at about 9am. The entire journey was very well organised, two guides met us at the airport, where a bus picked us up. We were allowed to leave all our luggage in the bus, during our trip to and in London. After having enjoyed a wonderful day in London we went to Canterbury, where we went straight to the canteen, there we ate supper with other students from all over the world. After dinner we were taken to our host families. All of the families were very friendly and considerate to us.

We had school every day from 8:40 to 12:00, except on the weekend. Sadly we didn’t have a lie-in at the weekend, but we spent our time even better, visiting Cambridge and Leeds Castle. Leeds Castle was my personal favourite of all, the atmosphere, the fresh air and the whole architecture of the castle and the park around it impressed me a lot.

School lessons were very exciting and we had a lot of fun. I loved the arguments we practiced during the lessons. In the afternoon we took part in a lot of excursions, for example to the Canterbury Tales Museum and Dover Castle. We also had planned evenings, for example bowling or karaoke. The whole week was well planned and organised. School always started punctually and nothing not on schedule happened during it. We all enjoyed the week a lot, it was the best school event we had so far.
